ABOUT
REAL MCCOY STUNTS
Bryan McCoy comes from humble roots in New Mexico, where life on a ranch and a family legacy of racing shaped his love for speed and adrenaline. With grandparents who were race car drivers—one even building the first local track, Uranium Speedway—Bryan was hooked on cars and racing before he could even walk.

His love for action films hit early, and the choreographed stunts on screen became more than just entertainment—they sparked a passion. By the time he was a kid, Bryan was already pulling off stunts of his own, channeling heroes like Evel Knievel. His relentless pursuit of daredevil feats earned him the nickname "Awful Knaweful" from his dad—a badge of honor for a kid who thrived on pushing the limits.
Bryan’s drive has always been obvious, as his mother, Brenda, would tell you. At 15, during a family vacation, he made a bold claim: he'd one day have his name on a star on Hollywood Boulevard. That dream took him from a small town to the big city at just 19, chasing the stunt life. After a few years of grinding, doing background work, and small gigs, he earned his SAG card and booked his first major stunt gig in 2012.
Now a seasoned professional, Bryan’s expertise as a stuntman covers everything from stunt driving (his specialty) to fire burns, rigging, horse work, and handling weapons. With a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and experience teaching at the Motion Picture Driving Clinic, he’s as skilled behind the wheel as he is performing high-impact stunts and falls.
Looking back, Bryan is thankful for the journey—from a small-town kid with big dreams to a Hollywood stuntman leading Real McCoy Stunts (RMS). Every fall, every stunt, and every challenge has fueled his passion, and he’s grateful for the people who’ve had his back along the way. For Bryan, the stunt world isn’t just a job—it’s the ultimate test of grit, creativity, and adrenaline, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
